[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-devel] trivial error message fix for network-bridge
I do believe there is an error in the error message network-bridge gives when you run out of veth devices; I was trying to setup a box with 8 bridges and it was erroring out on the 5th bridge. It gave me the following error: --- # /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge start vifnum=4 Link veth4 is missing. This may be because you have reached the limit of the number of interfacesthat the loopback driver supports. If the loopback driver is a module, you may raise this limit by passing it as a parameter (nloopbacks=<N>); if the driver is compiled statically into the kernel, then you may set the parameter using loopback.nloopbacks=<N> on the domain 0 kernel command line. ---This doesn't work on my system. the correct option (in the 2.6.16.29 kernel) is netloop.nloopbacks=<N> Attachment:
