Add "lowmem_emergency_pool=16M" as a Xen boot parameter in your bootloader configuration file. That should avoid this error. -- Keir On 10 May 2006, at 01:17, pak333@xxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Looks like ti has problem allcoating mem Mounting other filesystems: [ OK ]Starting automount: kernel BUG at arch/xen/i386/mm/pgtable.c:284 (pgd_ctor)![<c011334f>] pgd_ctor+0x50/0x5c [<c0146076>] cache_init_objs+0x49/0x60 [<c0146245>] cache_grow+0x119/0x1df [<c01464d5>] cache_alloc_refill+0x1ca/0x232 [<c0146748>] kmem_cache_alloc+0x7e/0x82 [<c01133c3>] pgd_alloc+0x1c/0x31e [<c014fa92>] do_anonymous_page+0x97/0x28e [<c011c476>] mm_init+0xe6/0x117 [<c011c75f>] copy_mm+0xbd/0x3bc [<c011cd99>] copy_files+0x20b/0x30f [<c0132d1e>] do_posix_clock_monotonic_get+0x18/0x4a [<c032adc0>] inflate_fixed+0x23/0x170 [<c011d342>] copy_process+0x402/0xcc1 [<c016d131>] do_pipe+0x188/0x216 [<c032ac80>] inflate_stored+0x76/0x193 [<c011dcf5>] do_fork+0x68/0x197 [<c012b48c>] sys_rt_sigprocmask+0x86/0xe8 [<c0108043>] sys_clone+0x3e/0x42 [<c0109551>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb Kernel panic - not syncing: BUG!-------------- Original message --------------From: "Puthiyaparambil, Aravindh" <aravindh.puthiyaparambil@xxxxxxxxxx>Could you send the serial output for the kernel panic? I would like to launch 1 VM with 30GB or so memory. Are there any config paramters like kernel,/inittrd that need to be changed.I have the ramdisk set to the initrd I used to boot xen with PAE.
