I'm running asterisk (OS PBX) inside a u domain for testing, and it
works reasonably well but without a timing provider, things like Music
On Hold don't work well, and the sound can be a bit off.

Asterisk makes use of timing provided from the exchange via 'ZapTel'
timing. If you don't have any ZapTel hardware, there is a ztdummy module
which uses a timer of some sort that exists in the usb controller, which
at this point is my only option.

Does anyone know enough about usb to know what timer is being talked
about here, and if the existing per-device usb project that was being
talked about in xen would be able to map that through to a domain
without mapping the whole usb controller?

Thanks

James
