This is not 'linuxism', but 'xenism'. xen.gz is the image of Xen virtual machine monitor. Xen runs on "bare metal", and is the very first thing loaded by grub. vmlinuz-2.6.9-xen0 is the image for XenoLinux kernel. It's loaded by Xen at the end of Xen booting process. - Bin ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xen-devel
