Yeah, I spotted uses of hypervisor services and things called "DCSS"s. I guessed that xip2 must be rather z/VM specific. :-) Is there any documentation on the semantics of DCSS and the hypervisor services that are used? It would be interesting to see if Xen ought to have some similar concept. -- Keir > I'll take a look for a newer patch and see if I can scrape up some time to > apply the backend to xen, but I don't know when I'll get a chance -- don't let > me hold anyone else up who was considering working on it. > > -m > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE > FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines > robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match > for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 > _______________________________________________ > Xen-devel mailing list > Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xen-devel ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xen-devel
