Jim, I'm using the tagged revision and I was able to compile it. Thanks!! Now I'll try to install it with sfcb Jose -----Original Message----- From: Jim Fehlig [mailto:jfehlig@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2007 5:07 PM To: Olcese, Jose Cc: xen-cim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Xen-cim] Xen CIM on sfcb Olcese, Jose wrote: > > Raj, > > > > Thanks for your response. > > I tried using the XEN-CIM providers included in SLES10SP1 but those > are installed for the openWBEM broker and I need to use SFCB. > You will need to rebuild for sfcb. I tagged the hg repo for SP1 http://xenbits2.xensource.com/ext/os-cmpi-xen.hg?rev/aad84ea2d09e so you could use that c/s or of course just the src rpm included with SP1. NB - I have never build Xen-CIM against sfcb and it's been quite some time since I built with OpenPegasus. In theory though should not be a problem since all of the providers are CMPI. > I installed sfcb, then copied the .mof from XEN-CIM and executed > sfcbrepos -f but the only schema that seems to work is 2.16 > experimental which leaves sfcb DB inconsistent.... > The mof included with Xen-CIM should work with 2.15 experimental. The cim-schema rpm included with SP1 contains some of the required mof from 2.15 -- see /usr/share/mof/cimv2.14/cimv2.15-unreleased. The Xen-CIM project itself contains mof files that were not yet publicly released when SP1 was shipped -- see schema/dmtf directory in Xen-CIM project. Also, the top-level Makefile.am contains rules for compiling/registering schema. Looking at that may help.
