[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1786] New: WinFast DTV2000H no longer scans/locks DVB under Xen

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1786

Summary: WinFast DTV2000H no longer scans/locks DVB under Xen
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Unspecified
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: bakemesomepie@xxxxxxxxx

Kernel: 3.0.4-030004-generic (64 bit)
Xen: 4.1.1 (XFS patch applied)

When booting with Xen, I've lost the ability to scan / lock digital (DVB) with
my Winfast DVT2000H card. Analogue does seem to work OK, however. The card
resumes normal functionality when booting without Xen (same kernel version).

When using the 'scan' utility, if booted with Xen support I get this:
---------------------------------------------
.....
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0011
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0000
......
---------------------------------------------

However, without Xen, works fine (lock and watch channel).

I also get (a lot) these messages in dmesg output (with Xen only):

[49787.435885] cx88[0]: irq aud [0x1101] dn_risci1* dnf_of dn_sync*
[49787.435899] cx88[0]: irq aud [0x1001] dn_risci1* dn_sync*

Not sure if this is IRQ related, this seems OK:

 grep cx88 /proc/interrupts
  19: 4896 0 0 0 xen-pirq-ioapic-level
cx88[0], cx88[0], cx88[0]

Advise if any further details required.
