Good afternoon! I am running xen-3.0.3-120.el5_6.1 at CentOS 5.6 with kernel 2.6.18-194.el5xen at dom0. Hardware is Hetzner EQ4 server, with hyperthreading-enabled CPU and 8GBs RAM. I am running 2 Debian 6.0 domUs on it. And I have a lot of segfaults in random processes at random time. There is entries in domUs kern.log like this: Apr 24 11:50:01 static kernel: monitor.pl[27532]: segfault at 00002b95caeabbd8 rip 00002b95caea7f34 rsp 00007fffb1ff88b0 error 7 Apr 25 16:20:01 static kernel: monitor.pl[4390]: segfault at 0000000000000021 rip 00002b3c94c4841e rsp 00007fff6bd61160 error 4 And like this: Bad page state in process 'nginx' page:ffff88000432d9f0 flags:0x0000000000000000 mapping:0000000000000000 mapcount:0 count:524288 (Tainted: G B) Trying to fix it up, but a reboot is needed Backtrace: Call Trace: [<ffffffff802c01c6>] bad_page+0x69/0x91 [<ffffffff8020b038>] get_page_from_freelist+0x236/0x3ef [<ffffffff8020f69b>] __alloc_pages+0x78/0x308 [<ffffffff80249759>] sprintf+0x51/0x59 [<ffffffff802093c5>] __handle_mm_fault+0x94c/0x1348 [<ffffffff80264931>] _spin_lock_irqsave+0x9/0x14 [<ffffffff8026769a>] do_page_fault+0xf7b/0x12e0 [<ffffffff80264931>] _spin_lock_irqsave+0x9/0x14 [<ffffffff802ea9b9>] sys_epoll_wait+0x3b8/0x3f9 [<ffffffff80264931>] _spin_lock_irqsave+0x9/0x14 [<ffffffff8026082b>] error_exit+0x0/0x6e Bad page state in process 'cron.pl' page:ffff88000432d9f0 flags:0x0000000000000000 mapping:0000000000000000 mapcount:0 count:524288 (Tainted: G B) Trying to fix it up, but a reboot is needed Backtrace: Call Trace: [<ffffffff802c01c6>] bad_page+0x69/0x91 [<ffffffff8020b038>] get_page_from_freelist+0x236/0x3ef [<ffffffff8020f69b>] __alloc_pages+0x78/0x308 [<ffffffff802093c5>] __handle_mm_fault+0x94c/0x1348 [<ffffffff8021763d>] generic_file_aio_read+0x34/0x39 [<ffffffff8020d3eb>] do_sync_read+0xc7/0x104 [<ffffffff80264931>] _spin_lock_irqsave+0x9/0x14 [<ffffffff8026769a>] do_page_fault+0xf7b/0x12e0 [<ffffffff8029c60a>] autoremove_wake_function+0x0/0x2e [<ffffffff8026082b>] error_exit+0x0/0x6e I have no idea, why this errors comes. I thought, that it was connected with hardware and I asked hetzner support to made full hardware diagnostics. No succes - all hardware working just fine. I tried to re-create domUs - with no success, again. This domUs is very important for me. Can you help me, please? Thanks a lot. -- Ð ÑÐÐÐÐÐÐÐÐ, ÐÐÑÐÐÐÑ ÐÐÑÐÐÑ ÐÐÑÑÐÐÐÑÐ ÐÐÐÐÐÐÑÑÑÐÑÐÑ, ÐÐÐ-ÑÐÐÑÐÐÐÑÑÐÐ. +7 (916) 312 15 14 admin@xxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
