[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1603] New: creating a new virtual network with invalid IP address corrupts system

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1603

Summary: creating a new virtual network with invalid IP address
                    corrupts system
           Product: Xen
           Version: 3.0.3
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Unspecified
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: bits@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I use CentOS 5.4 and tried to configure a new virtual interface for my USB
adapter which wasn't detected automatically.
As this should run a PPPoE server and no IP address must be given I first tried
to configure 0.0.0.0. This corrupted my install and the entry can not be
removed anymore. Once i click on the new Virtual Interface the GUI hangs and I
need to force quit. So far I have not figured out how to remove the entry using
shell comands.
USB adapter is a Moschip MCS7830.
PC is a Dell Inspiron Zino
eth0 is configured and working

I came to this configuration as the usb0 interface wasn't properly working
while it does on a different install without Xen. So I was trying to create a
bridge between the physical network and dom0.

Thanks
Kai
