[Xen-bugs] massive memleak when using current xen kernels with ata over ethernet

When using remote storage over AOE with a xen kernel higher than 2.6.18,
writes to the domU over the AOE will result in a massive memleak on the dom0.
After filling up all memory, oom-killer will be invoked, resulting in a
rebooting dom0.
When doing an rsync on the domU running from the AOE storage, it fills up the
memory really fast. Two gigabyte will be fully occupied within a minute.

After some searching i found some experiences like i just had on other mailing
lists, so i bet this issue is already known to the XEN developers.

So my question as a result to this information i found is quite simple:
Is there any intention to solve this issue in upcoming kernel versions, or
does anyone have found a patch for this issue?

I am willing to provide a platform with everything reproduced to solve this
issue. I am willing to help in any way i can, but my knowledge stops at a
certain point.

At this moment i am using XEN with the 2.6.18 kernel on dom0, which is of
course a temporary thing. Not being able to update the kernel isn't something
to be considered minor to me.
