Confirm this bug on debian lenny:

Linux lenny 2.6.26-1-xen-amd64 #1 SMP Sat Nov 8 21:20:04 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux


echo "jiffies" >
/sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/current_clocksource

Fixed the problem.
