[Xen-bugs] [Bug 777] Broadcom 5708/Dell 1950 Workaround

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=777

------- Comment #4 from jchou@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2008-10-30 04:17 -------
I've upgraded the Broadcom firmware to 4.4.2 and re-enabled the managed
firmware, and it seems to be working again. I can ping my default gateway fine
from both domU and dom0, and get to the internets fine from both. We're running
1955 blades, but the NICs are the same as the 1950's.

It also upped my firmware rev from 11 to 12:

Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5708S Gigabit
Ethernet (rev 12)

The Dell information page for both the 4.0.3 and 4.4.2 firmware were made to
address iSCSI issues, but (not surprisingly) nothing about IPMI.
