http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1201 Summary: ISDN cards with HFC-s chipset do not work in DomU's Product: Xen Version: 3.0.3 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux-2.6 Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Hardware Support AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: patrick@xxxxxxxxxx I am using the pciback.hide kernel argument to hide two ISDN pci cards from Dom0, which does work great. Of course I am doing to because I want to use these cards in a DomU exclusively. First of all, I have to alter my /etc/xen/xend-pci-permissive.sxp file to be able to initialize my cards in the DomU environment: xenmeister:~# cat /etc/xen/xend-pci-permissive.sxp | grep -v ^# (unconstrained_dev_ids ('1397:2bd0') ) These are the cards I am talking about: xenmeister:~# lspci | grep HFC 02:02.0 Network controller: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network controller [HFC-PCI] (rev 02) 02:04.0 Network controller: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network controller [HFC-PCI] (rev 02) The driver I am using is "zaphfc" and you can find the source code (~900 lines of code) here: http://updates.xorcom.com/astribank/bristuff/1.4/bristuff-current/zaphfc/ -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
