I'm closing this bug in the course of bugzilla 2007 spring cleaning.

No developer has dealt with it since months, so I'm closing it as "wontfix"
which matches this fact best.

Please reopen this bug if it still exists in current Xen versions, and is
important to you - sorry for the inconvenience in that case. We are hoping to
get a cleaner bugzilla, so in the future we can send out reminders for
unhandled bugs. Therefore, the bug database must be cleaned of old and
forgotten bugs, first.

As for this specific bug:
In case you reopen it, please be more exact to tell _which_ permissions or
ownerships are changed in error by the install.sh script.
For example, by shwoing us an ls / before and after install.sh

I don't see here what the kickstart config file can help with this, and
I cannot find any chown command in install.sh for now.
