As this has not been dealt with further for months now, and bug #229 mentions a
fix in that area, I'm closing this bug now, in the course of bugzilla 2007
spring cleaning.

Feel free to reopen it if the problem still exists in current versions.

Closing as wontfix, as it's not clearly marked as duplicate of bug #229, and no
developer cared of it anymore.
