http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=859 Summary: xendomains can't handle domains with names longer than 17 chars Product: Xen Version: unstable Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Tools AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: henning_sprang@xxxxxx When trying to use xendomains stop and having domains running with names longer than 17 chars, it comes into trouble. The reason is the function parseln, which hard cuts xm list output at 17th character. A working parseln function would look like this: parseln() { #name=`echo "$1" | cut -c0-17` name=`echo "$1" | cut -d " " -f 1` name=${name%% *} #rest=`echo "$1" | cut -c18- ` rest=`echo "$1" | cut -d " " -f 2-` read id mem cpu vcpu state tm < <(echo "$rest") } See the thread in the mailing list: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-01/msg00061.html -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
