I'm using Boot Camp for diskinitialisation, rEFIt (
http://refit.sourceforge.net) as boot manager at the EFI side to select
MacOS/X, Linux or boot from another device, and a patched Grub installed at
/dev/sda3 for selecting the kernel version. Normal Fedora kernel boot works
fine.

I've seen this problem on Ubuntu 6.0.6 and Fedora Core 6 beta, with standard
packages as well with a specialised Xen kernel.

BTW: are the intel mac minis sufficiently similar to the macbook that its

I've heard it works on Mac minis, and I've read that several Macbooks have
this rebooting problem.

The lack of VMX is presumably due to it being disabled by the BIOS. Not much

I could, as this could be turned on in EFI shell. But I have VMXON done when
I don't use nosmp. So I think it is on by default.

I find it strange too. Any way I can give you enough information?
The kernel crashes occasionally at startup on APIC, setting noapic in
regular kernel fixes this but the system is slow on mouse then. When I set
noapic on Xen, nothing changes. It still reboots.
I'm using the default Fedora Xen image at the moment.
