http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=512 Summary: vif script not run on 'reboot' from within domU Product: Xen Version: 3.0-testing Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux-2.6 Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P4 Component: Tools AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: matta@xxxxxxxxxxxx Hi, I am noticing the vif script is not being run when 'reboot' is run within the xenU. This is a very critical bug as if a user purchasing a VM decides to reboot the vif script is not called to do the appropriate routing. This is with Fedora Core 4 using hotplug. I have made sure my vif-route script uses a switch statement to catch for both add/online and remove/offline. This is the after reboot from xend.log, it appears it destroys the domain and AFAIK destroy is kind of broken right now. I will run xm-bugtool to provide a fuller report. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
