[Xen-bugs] [Bug 23] New: System freezes after pci-ioapic-patch

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23

           Summary: System freezes after pci-ioapic-patch
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hardware Support
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: pittipatti@xxxxxx

After aplying the pci-ioapic-patch the system freezes while booting dom0.
Xen boots well.
In Dom0 when loading the sata-driver (from the scsi-section of kernel config
(SCSI_SATA_SIL)) for the silicon image sata-device the system stops.
I think it's an irq-problem since when I use the alternative driver from
ata-section (BLK_DEV_SIIMAGE) the last line printed is "lost interrupt".

I can find "IOAPIC[0]: Invalid reference to IRQ 0" message in dmesg.

Patrick
