Hello Yuan,

Great to see your interest and thank you. For the time being, we are collecting different inputs, we are at the very preliminary work.

I also learnt that Samsung finally released their work around Secure XEN on ARM for mobile devices. This may constitute an excellent basis

for our project as well.

Please note that our official project repository is located at http://sourceforge.net/projects/embeddedxen.

If you are interested in providing some contributions, I will also add your name as developers.

By the way, do you see any problems to push our mail exchange on the mailing list?

Cheers

Daniel

Subject: [XenARM] new project of porting XEN on ARM

Hello,

It is quite a long time now that there were no activities in this mailing list. But, we are now about to start a one-year project

focused on the porting of XEN on ARM and we have the intention to foster and to speed up the development

of this port, especially in the context of realtime OS (execution of a hard realtime OS with a non-realtime).  The project is an academic one which will allow us to publish our efforts

through the XEN community and to promote the open development in this area.

Our research project will hopefully start by September 1st, but until then we will have to refresh our state-of-the-art on our side regarding the last

development. In this perspective, I would greatly appreciate that anybody publish any useful info about ongoing development

into this mailing list.

We also aimed at doing a XEN port on the i.MX21ADS infrastructure based on our previous work (xen-colibri) which was also based upon

the efforts of George Davis. I guess we will probably work with a common XEN-enhanced Linux tree in a first step.

Kind regards

Daniel
