Hi,

please recommend a way to change management interface and IP subnet for
this interface in a pool.
I tried to (pool members XenServer 6.2):
1) change address using this article:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX123477
but pool-members weren't in emergency mode after changing IP and restart
toolstack
2) change interface from xsconsole
but there was no infromation about any interface in xsconsole after
xe pool-emergency-reset-master master-address=IP_OF_THE_MASTER.
reboot helped to resolve this problem.
Changing management interface caused problem with one ip assigned to old
and new interface. Routing to management subnet was set for 2 interfaces.
To resolve problems i had to use pif-reconfigure with mode=none,
changing /etc/xensource-inventory manually and some reboots.

Is it possible to change management interface and IP address without reboot?
Are there any difference doing this steps for XenServer 6.2 and XCP?

Best Regards
Piotr Teodorowski
