Hi Karel.  I know this thread is very old but we recently upgraded from 1.5 to 1.6 and two of our VM's running MS Windows 2003 w/ SQL Server 2005 are very unstable--freeze and lose remote desktop/console connectivity--perhaps the same issue you saw.  Did you end up downgrading to 1.5?  If so, how did you go about it?  We're trying to figure out the best approach to downgrade.
