I don't know if it is related to this but in the log a message comes often:

Sep  3 10:55:33 r421-e2-5 xcp-rrdd: [debug|r421-e2-5|0 
monitor|main|rrdd_main] Exception in 'update_vbds': 
Sys_error("/sys/devices/xen-backend: No such file or directory"). 
Defaulting this value.
