Hi,

You don’t need to replace the existing xs-tools-6.1.0.iso – just copy the new one to /opt/xensource/packages/iso

xapi should notice the new ISO and tag your Windows VMs as having out-of-date PV drivers. There was a bug in this logic though which affected VMs which had been migrated or suspended/resumed – you may need to install XS61E009 to fix that!

Of course, it would be more optimal if all updates were ported to the xcp yum repo, and applicable from there!

One way is to replace the it at the following file location:

/opt/xensource/packages/iso/xs-tools-6.1.0.iso

However how to update the mapping, I’m not sure. I thought it would have been in the sr- end of the API, but I was mistaken. Not sure if anyone from Citrix could help with that.
