Thanks for the report.

You're right, it is indeed a bug. I fixed this a while ago in the master branch 
on Github 
(https://github.com/xen-org/xen-api/commit/731a05714e71ace0c9dfa7c0860db758071b740e),
 but I think the fix did not make it to the debian repo yet.

Mike says that he should be able to add it in.
