AFAIK this is xe sr-introduce, and manual pbd-create to attach.

Do not use 'sr-create', it will wipe all metadata from disk (actually, it is dd /dev/zero for fist 100Mb)!

Correct me, if this is the wrong list.

How can I add a used harddisk with its contents to a XCP server ?

I am running 3 XCP 1.1 and XenServer 5.6 servers at different locations.
They are all with 1 or 2 physical disks without any connections to SAN and not member of any pool (except for their own 1-server-pool).

One of those servers died. Problem with the motherboard - old cheap hardware so no big deal. It had 2 disk's. The second is a 2 TB Sata with a VM, that stored rsync-backup's.

Where can I find a howto of, how to add this disk to another XCP or Xenserver without the risc, that it is partition'ed and formated, when it is add'ed to that server ?
