[Xen-API] DDK for 1.0/1.1

Dear list,
under http://www.xen.org/download/xcp/index_0.5.0.html I find:
- DDK ISO Development Kit which is a virtual machine with
all the kernel headers and development tools needed to recompile the
XAPI toolstack, Xen hypervisor, Dom0 kernel, drivers, etc.
whereas under 1.0 and 1.1 I do not find it.
What is the preferred way to install a similar system: Just install
XCP again as a domU/guest and install the sources form the source
ISO?
