Some thoughts: Guest RPC mechanism: jonathan.ludlam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - upstream QEMU seems to have "virtagent" implemented, which is a guest RPC mechanism. Any chances to re-use/collaborate? see for example Subject: "[Qemu-devel] [PATCH v3 0/2] virtagent - fsfreeze support" and Subject: "[Qemu-devel] [RFC][PATCH v6 00/23] virtagent: host/guest RPC communication agent" git://repo.or.cz/qemu/mdroth.git virtagent_v6 and a new suggestion (not yet in the wiki): Xen block device live migration (storage migration) - allow moving VM from storage A to storage B without downtime. Upstream QEMU seems to have some block migration support already. -- Pasi _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
