Hello,

Does anyone know how to figure out what a virtual machine’s operating system type (e.g Windows, RedHat, etc) is using the Java API? I tried using the VMGuestMetrics object’s osVersion property but, this property doesn’t contain the required information.

Thanks,

Joseph F. Caruso
