This only answer partially to my question. What did you exactly test?

Here a non-exhaustive list of things that should be tested in a first stage:
        - Receive interrupts
        - Receiving event channels
        - Timer
        - Abort paths
        - Task switching

After we know that this working nicely, we can test:
        - Netfront
        - Blockfront
        - Balloon
        - Libc
        - Application linking
