BTW: Even though ifconfig xen-br0 shows the error, "ifconfig eth0" works fine
and brctl also works fine:

[root@router ~]# brctl show
bridge name     bridge id               STP enabled     interfaces
xen-br0         8000.000d614adabe       no              eth0
                                                        vif3.0
                                                        vif4.0
[root@router ~]#
